The GMC CCKW was a 2.5 ton 6X6 U.S. Army cargo truck used in the Second World War and the Korean War. It's often referred to as a "Deuce and a Half" or "Jimmy". The CCKW came in many variants which had an open or closed cab, and a Long Wheel Base (LWB 353) or a Short Wheel Base (SWB 352). Initially all versions had a closed cab, a metal roof and doors, and steel cargo beds. As the war progressed, an open cab version was designed. It had fixed 'half doors', canvas top and sides, and the steel bed was replaced by a wooden one in order to conserve steel. The wooden bed proved unsatisfactory and led to the development of a 'composite' bed with steel sides and framing along with wooden slats for the bed. Later on the composite bed was replaced by an all steel bed.

Master Box 1:35 Accident, Soviet & German Military, Summer 1941 - Plastic Figure Model Kit #3590
The kit represents three Soviet military men taking aim at two German soldiers. 22 June 1941 marked the beginning of the Great Patriotic War when the Nazi troops and German allied forces invaded the Soviet Union. The invasion was also called "Operation Barbarossa" named after the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick I who was nicknamed "Barbarossa" because of his red beard (in Italian: barba, "beard", and rossa, "red").
Even though the Red Army suffered significant losses at the beginning of the War, Operation Barbarossa is often called the biggest Hitler's failure because it eventually led to the crushing defeat of the Nazis and collapse of the Third Reich in 1945.

The Warrior is a modern infantry combat vehicle of British origin also known as the MCV-80 according to its initial designation. Started in the late 1970s by GKN Sankey, its development was commissioned by the UK Army that sought a replacement for the older FV432 series. The vehicle is aimed to defend the crew from enemy gunfire and to ensure fire-power support during land operations. Its crew includes: driver, gunner, commander and seven soldiers in full gear.
The Warrior carried British troops to the battlefield during the Invasion of Iraq that started in 2003 and marked the beginning of the Iraq War. The Invasion lasted for 21 days and resulted in the overthrow of Saddam Hussein's regime. The campaign against the Iraqi government was conducted by the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Poland. Along with the War in Iraq, the Warrior vehicles were used during the Gulf War and the war in Afghanistan.

Trumpeter 1:35 - Soviet JS-2M Heavy Tank Early - Plastic model kit #05589
After it became clear that the JS-1 was incapable of destroying the German Tiger and Panther tanks, the Soviet engineers came up with an upgraded model of the JS series - the JS-2 heavy tank. The production of its early version began in 1943 in Chelyabinsk. The JS-2 was equipped with the A-19 gun, also known as the 122 mm gun, with higher armour-piercing qualities. In addition, compared to the JS-1 and its prototype models of the KV series, the JS-2 had thicker front armour and a muzzle recoil compensator. Besides, it was much lighter and faster.
In 1944, the model was modernised once again and renamed the JS-2M. The changes mainly transformed the chassis construction; the transmission and fighting compartments were relocated to the back of the tank. Later the same modifications were made to almost all JS-2 tanks remaining after the war.

Trumpeter 1:35 - Soviet JS-1 Heavy Tank - Plastic model kit #05587
The Soviet heavy tank JS-1, a modernised version of the KV-1 and KV-2 series, was put into service in the midst of the Second World War. High production rates and quick testing of the JS-1 resulted from the appearance of the newer German Panther and Tiger I tanks and the lack of adequate military equipment to fight against them. However, even after several modifications of its design, the JS-1 proved to be unsuccessful in combat because of its armament that was not strong enough to defeat German tanks. The JS-1 was soon replaced by the improved JS-2.
During the war, the JS-1 was also known as the JS-85, where "85" stood for the calibre of the tank gun, and "JS" - for Joseph Stalin (Russian: ИС - Иосиф Сталин). The JS-1 marked the beginning of the well-known "Joseph Stalin" tank line.

Trumpeter 1:35 - Soviet 1K17 Szhatie - Plastic model kit #05542
The 1K17 Szhatie was a self-propelled laser vehicle created on a decline of the Soviet Union's existence. Its development based on the 2S19 Msta-S howitzer was aimed at enemy's optical electronic devices. An artificial ruby weighting 30 kg was embedded into the vehicle. The ruby was used in order to focalise the laser beam. Besides, silver coating of some optical elements helped to increase the beam strength. Despite the fact that the vehicle had passed all military tests, its expensive production along with the collapse of the Soviet Union made the Russian authorities consider its further manufacturing unprofitable. The Russian word "Сжатие" ("Szhatie") means "Compression".

Miniart 1:35 - Soviet Artillery Crew on Maneuvere - Plastic Figure Model Kit #35081
The Soviet anti-tank gun ZiS-3, also known as the 76-mm divisional gun M1942, was constructed at the Artillery Factory No. 92 in 1940 for the needs of the Red Army suffering enormous losses at the beginning of the Second World War. The gun was developed by V.G. Grabin, a Soviet artillery designer. The ZiS-3 design was based on the F-22USV cannon and the ZiS-2 anti-tank gun. Combining the F-22USV barrel and the ZiS-2 carriage, the ZiS-3 turned out to be far more effective compared to its prototypes. Unlike the F-22USV, the ZiS-3 was equipped with a muzzle brake which allowed to reduce recoil. Besides, its production was a lot easier and cheaper because most parts were manufactured by means of casting, and it was allowed to use materials lower in quality.
During the war, when fast production and large quantities were the highest priority, the ZiS-3 took part in combat without having been put to the tests. However, in the battlefield it proved its superiority over other anti-tank guns and later it was recognised by the authorities and obtained its official name - the divisional field gun model 1942. Due to its high combat effectiveness, the ZiS-3 had the largest share in the field gun production at wartime.
The kit contains 221 parts.
Includes parts for five figures and one anti-tank gun ZiS-3.

The French GCT 155mm is a self-propelled artillery vehicle used by the armies of France and Saudi Arabia. It was designed to replace the French Army's Mk F3 155mm, and the first production version - the AUF1 - was introduced in 1977. The two major improvements of the GCT 155mm over the Mk F3 155mm are the nuclear-biological-chemical (NBC) protection for the crew and the ability to carry all four crew members (the Mk F3 could only carry two, and the other two had to be transported in support vehicles). The GCT 155mm AUF1 is equipped with a 155mm 39-caliber gun with an auto-loading system. Its rate of fire is 8 rounds per minute, and a sustained rate of fire is 6 rounds per minute. It also has a roof-mounted 12.7mm anti-aircraft gun. About 400 AUF1's have been produced, and 70 have been upgraded to the AUF2 variant. The Soviet T-35 was a multi-turreted heavy tank of the interwar period and early WWII that saw limited production and service with the Red Army. The T-35 was the only five-turreted heavy tank in the world to reach production; however it proved to be slow and mechanically unreliable. Most of the T-35's which were still operational at the time of Operation Barbarossa were lost due to mechanical failure rather than enemy action. The main turret was equipped with a KT-28 cannon also used on the Т-28 medium tank. The the 7.62mm DT machine gun was an auxiliary weapon in the main turret. The tank was large, but on the inside the spaces were cramped with the fighting compartments separated from each other. Some of the turrets obscured the entrance hatches.

The T-38 was a Soviet amphibious light tank of the Second World War period. An improved version of the T-37A light tank, the T-38 was produced from 1936 till 1939. 1,228 tanks were built in 1936-1937, and another 112 - in 1939.
Trials showed that the T-37A had a limited range and unreliable transmission and running gear, which could cause its tracks to fall off while on the move. An improved version of this tank - the T-38 - was supposed to fix these flaws. The turret was moved from the right-hand side of the tank to the left, which switched the driver and commander positions. The T-38 was armed with a 7.62mm DT machine gun.
The tank was designed for reconnaissance and infantry support. Due to its ability to swim, it had a good long-range mobility. It was also intended to be air-portable; in 1936 the T-38's were mounted under the fuselage and transported by Tupolev TB-3 bombers during the Kiev maneuvers. However, due to the thin armour and a single machinegun, the T-38's use in combat was limited. It was also incapable of carrying the weight of two infantrymen while floating; overloads of 120-150kg would sink the vehicle.
The Red Army used the T-38 in 1940, during the Winter War with Finland. Its armament and thin armour made the tank unsuccessful; it was easily penetrated by the fire of rifles and light machine guns. The Germans captured large numbers of T-38's during Operation Barbarossa. During WWII, the main amphibious scout vehicle of the Soviet Union was the U.S. Ford GPA amphibious jeep provided through Lend-Lease.
