Miniart 1:35 - Stug. III 0-Series - Plastic Model Kit #35210
The German Sturmgeschütz III or StuG III assault gun was the country's 2nd most produced AFV of the WWII period (after the Sd Kfz 251). The StuG was designed to support the advancing infantry using direct fire. Early models were equipped with low-velocity 7.5 cm StuK 37 L/24 guns which were able to blast fortifications but could not penetrate armour well. After the Germans encountered the Soviet KV-1 and T-34 tanks those were substituted with high-velocity 7.5 cm StuK 40 L/43 and later 7.5 cm StuK 40 L/48.
Before the production began, five prototypes of the vehicle were produced in 1937 - the experimental '0' series. They used the chassis and running gear of the Panzer III and featured a mild-steel superstructure and Krupp’s 7.5cm StuK 37 L/24 cannon. These AFVs were tested at a number of training facilities and remained in use as training vehicles until 1942.

HobbyBoss 1:35 - German Sd.Kfz.182 King Tiger Porsche Turret w/ Zimmerit - Plastic model kit #84530
Development of the Tiger II heavy tank started in 1937 with design contracts given to Henschel and Porsche. Both companies used the same turret in their prototypes (designed by Krupp) but the tanks had differences in the hull, transmission and suspension systems. The Porsche design featured a rear-mounted turret and a mid-mounted engine, and the suspension was the same as on the Elefant. The Henschel version which was more conventional won the contract and all King Tigers were produced by the company.
Production vehicles used two turret designs. The initial turret had a rounded front, sloped sides and a curved bulge on the left side for commander's cupola which proved to be difficult to manufacture. This turret is often called 'Porsche turret' as opposed to the more common 'production turret' or 'Henschel turret'. Fifty King Tigers had received the early 'Porsche turret' before the design was simplified.
The production of King Tigers was disrupted by the Allied bombings with five raids in September and October 1944 alone destroying 95% of the floor area at the Henschel plant. Initially orders were placed for 1,500 King Tigers but only 492 units were produced until the end of the war.

The German Molch was an 11 ton one-man midget submarine built in 1944. It was the first mini-submarine of the Kriegsmarine. The Molch was fully electrical, carried two G7e torpedoes - one on each side of the craft, and had a range of 64 km at 5 knots (9.3 km/h). 393 submarines were built in total, all by AG Weser in Bremen.
The Molch was first used to attack Allied battleships during the Allied Operation Dragoon. Ten out of the twelve submarines were lost and the remaining two were sunk by the Allies shortly after. In the following months the Molch was used in a number of operations but overall proved to be ineffective in combat and its use was reduced to training for more advanced submarines.

Milliput Modelling Clay - Standard (Yellow/Grey)
Comes in packs containing 2 x 56·7gm. Sticks and the general instructions for preparation and usage are the same.
The two sticks have a long shelf life but once mixed the resultant putty is at first soft and highly adhesive and then gradually hardens. Speed of hardening is dependant on temperature and at normal temperatures (20-25ºC) Milliput becomes rock hard in three to four hours. By the application of heat the setting time can be reduced to a few minutes.
After setting hard Milliput continues to cure and is fully cured after an elapse of time equal to the setting time at the same temperature. Once fully cured Milliput can be machined, drilled, tapped, turned, filed, sawn, sandpapered and painted. Milliput can be sandpapered and painted immediately it has set. (it is advisable to wear eye protection during this process).
Milliput is an excellent adhesive and will bond any of the following to itself or to any of the others - wood, brick, cement, metals, concrete, plastics, glass etc, but note that Milliput is not intended as a thin layer adhesive and should not be used where a paste, mucilage or thin glue is indicated. Milliput will set under water and is heat resistant up to 130°C.

Academy 1:35 - M12 155mm GMC - Plastic model kit #13268
The U.S. 155mm Gun Motor Carriage M12 was a WWII self-propelled gun used from 1942 until the end of the war. A hundred vehicles were produced in total and initially those GMCs were intended for training. As the war progressed, it was decided to modify the M12s to prepare them for combat operations. The M12s were then successfully employed on the Western Front including the Allied assault of the Siegfried Line.
The M12 used the chassis of the M3 Lee tank. The 155mm gun was derived from the French 155mm GPF field gun. Due to the limited storage space, the vehicle could only carry 10 projectiles and propellant charges. The armoured driver's compartment was shared with the commander, and the gun crew were located at the back of the vehicle in an open top area.
Due to its powerful 155mm cannon, the vehicle was nicknamed "Doorknocker" and "King Kong". After the end of the war the M12 was replaced by the M40 Gun Motor Carriage.

Miniart 1:35 - Panzerschreck RPzB.54 & Ofenrohr RPzB.43 Set - Plastic Model Kit #35263
The Panzerschreck (tank's bane) was the common name for the Raketenpanzerbüchse (abbreviated to RPzB), an 88 mm calibre reusable anti-tank rocket launcher developed by Nazi Germany in World War II. Another popular nickname was Ofenrohr ("stove pipe").
The Panzerschreck was designed as a lightweight man portable anti-tank weapon and was largely a replica of the US military bazooka. The weapon was shoulder-launched and fired a fin-stabilized rocket with a shaped-charge warhead. It was made in smaller numbers than the Panzerfaust, which was a disposable recoilless gun firing an anti-tank warhead.

Miniart 1:35 - Anti-tank Obstacles - Plastic model kit #35579
The hedgehogs, or Czech hedgehogs, originated in Czechoslovakia and were first used on the country's border with Germany prior to the Munich Agreement and Germany's occupation of the Sudetenland. During WWII these anti-tank obstacles were widely used by the Soviet Union and proved to be especially effective in urban areas to block streets. Germany also used the hedgehogs as part of its defenses of the Atlantic Wall.
The Czech hedgehogs were normally made from sturdy metal, however the Soviet Union sometimes even used wood for this purpose. The obstacles were up to 1.4m high and consisted of 3 pieces of metal angle joined by gusset plates, rivets and bolts.
This kit contains parts for the assembly of 12 models of anti-tank obstacles.

The German tank destroyer Marder III was deployed from 1942 until 1945 on all fronts of the Second World War. The Marder used the chassis and the roofless fighting compartment of the Panzer 38(t). Its main armament was either the Soviet 76-mm divisional field gun M1936 or the German 75-mm Pak 40 anti-tank gun.
The Sd.Kfz.138 Ausf.M was the latest variant of the series armed with the 75mm Pak 40. Unlike the previous models, this variant featured sloped armour and an improved fighting compartment which was closed in the rear for better protection of the crew. The rear-mounted engine of the vehicle was replaced with an engine installed between the driver and the crew. This gave the crew more room in the fighting compartment decreasing their exposure to enemy fire. However, the compartment remained open-topped.
The crew of the Marder III Ausf.M included a commander, a gunner, a loader and a driver. About 1,000 units of the Ausf.M were built between 1943 and 1944.

Meng Model 1:35 - Sd.Kfz.171 Panther Zimmerit Decals
When Germany started the production of the Panther Ausf. A, Zimmerit was used to cover the metal armour of the vehicles to prevent magnetic anti-tank mines from sticking to it. Meng has selected four most popular and hard to replicate Zimmerit patterns and created a series of easy to use water slide decals representing those patterns. Use one of them with the TS-035 Sd.Kfz.171 Panther Ausf. A (Late) kit to add more realism to your Panther model.

Following the main amphibious landings on May 21st, 4-man patrols were inserted onto the islands where they carried out reconnaissance missions, adding to the capability that SAS and SBS patrols who already operating provided to the task force. The production of T-55 started in January 1958 at Uralvagonzavod. Compared to the T-54, this tank had a number of differences, the main ones being NBC protection and a new engine. Trumpeter 1:35 Soviet Soldiers - Afghan War - Plastic Figure Model Kit #00433
The Soviet-Afghan War started in December 1979 and lasted for ten years until February 1989. The government of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan and the Soviet Army fought against insurgent groups who were backed by the United States and Pakistan. The conflict began in 1978 when People's Democratic Party of Afghanistan took power and implemented a series of reforms which were unpopular among the rural population of Afghanistan. The government arrested thousands of people from the opposition and executed thousands of political prisoners. By 1979 the country was in open rebellion and the president Nur Mohammad Taraki was murdered under orders of the Minister of Foreign Affairs who then took the president's post. These events resulted in the Soviet decision to send its troops to Afghanistan in December 1979. During the course of the war, between 500 thousand and 2 million civilians were killed. Millions of Afghans fled the country as refugees mostly to Pakistan and Iran.
This kit includes parts for the assembly of three Soviet soldiers and seven rifles.

Academy 1:35 - Tiger I Early Operation Citadel - Plastic model kit #13509
The German heavy tank Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf. E or Tiger I was the first German AFV to mount the 88mm KwK 36 gun. The Tiger I was produced from 1942 until 1944 with 1347 tanks built in total. The tank weighed around 56 tons and apart from the 88 mm KwK 36 was armed with two 7.92mm MG 34's.
After the Germans had encountered the Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks during Operation Barbarossa, it was decided to build a heavy and powerful tank to combat those vehicles. When the first Tiger I's were used on the battlefield, the tank was still at the prototype stage and a number of changes were made to the design over the course of production. The early Tiger I's were used in 1942 near Leningrad and many of those vehicles and transmission problems due to the vehicle's weight. The Soviets managed to capture one of the first Tigers which had been stuck in the ground and abandoned by its crew, and used it to study the design.
After Leningrad, in 1943 units operating at Kharkov received early Tiger tanks, and following that a great concentration of Schwere Panzer-Abteilung's was prepared for Operation Citadel. Operation Citadel - the German offensive against the Soviet army in Kursk - began on the 5th of July 1943 and became the final strategic offensive that Germany launched on the Eastern Front.
The following markings are provided:
8th SS Pz. Abt. 'Das Reich', Kursk, Russia, July 1943
9th SS Pz. Abt. 'Totenkopf', Kursk, Russia, July 1943
Pz. Abt. 503, Kursk, Russia, July 1943

Revell 1:35 - SPz Marder IA3 Infantry Fighting Vehicle - Plastic Model Kit #03261
The German Marder is an infantry fighting vehicle which has served as the main weapon of the Panzergrenadiere since the 1970s. The Marder 1A3 has been the most commonly used version of the vehicle in service with the Bundeswehr. It is equipped with the 20 mm Rheinmetall MK 20 Rh202 autocannon as its main armament, and a 7.62 mm MG3 machine gun is mounted to the left of the cannon. The vehicle normally carries six missiles and a MILAN missile launcher can be attached to its turret. Marder 1A1 and 1A2 also had two gun ports on each side of the vehicle for additional fire against infantry targets. The 1A3 version has an extra layer of armour and storage boxes on the outside, and therefore does not have the gun ports.
The Marder has proven to be a successful IFV, but the aging design is currently being replaced by the Puma. The replacement began in 2010 and is scheduled to be completed by 2020.
