The first winter encountered by Nazi forces during the invasion of the Soviet Union was severely cold. The Wehrmacht troops were poorly prepared to spend that period in Russia. The kit represents five exhausted German soldiers trying to warm themselves up by the fire.

In winter during wartime soldiers of the Red Army wore white cloaks over their regular uniforms and ammunition to disguise themselves in the snow. The cloaks were introduced after the Winter War against Finland (1939 - 1940). They were made of coarse calico and included a loose shirt with a cape and wide trousers. On the sides there were slits to access soldiers' equipment.
The kit contains 58 parts.
It represents five Soviet infantry soldiers in winter camouflage clothing.

During the Second World War, the Finnish army participated in three major conflicts - the Winter War in 1939-1940 which began with the invasion of Finland by the Soviet Union, the Continuation War between Finland and the Soviet Union which started just over a year after the Winter War and lasted until 1944, and the Lapland War between Finland and Germany from September 1944 until April 1945.
This kit includes five figures of Finnish tank crew members of the WWII period.
