The National Liberation Front which fought the United States and South Vietnamese governments during the Vietnam War was called the Viet Cong by Western sources. The term Viet Cong is a contraction of Viet Nam Cong-san - 'Vietnamese communist'. American soldiers referred to the Viet Cong as Victor Charlie or V-C ('Victor' and 'Charlie' are letters in the NATO phonetic alphabet), and the term 'Charlie' was used to refer to communist forces in general.
This kit was inspired by a picture of American soldiers from the 101st Cavalry in a Willy’s jeep, taken in 1968. The kit includes parts for the assembly of five figures. Glue and paint are not included.

"Huey" was a nickname for the Bell UH-1 Iroquois military helicopter widely deployed by the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War (the Iroquois was originally called HU-1, hence the nickname). The kit represents American soldiers retreating to the helicopter.
